TECHNICAL INFORMATION

LOCAL GREEN MANUFACTURING

The architectural objects are made with noble and perennial materials, inherited from the classical construction. The realization combines traditional know-how and innovative designs according to the rules of art.

WOOD

A French and resolutely ecological manufacture. The oak come from the forests of Bourgogne in Franche-Comté. It's eco-certified with the PEFC label (certification of sustainable forest management). We work with companies engaged in an environmental protection process and with PEFC eco-certification. The machining is carried out in the heart of the Jura, near the forest, where there is a strong know-how in wood working..

MARBLE

The marble work is carried out in Carrara, Tuscany, using the historic know-how of local companies. We select the blocks to be worked directly in Carrara. The workmanship is traditional, and the finishing is done by hand in the Carrara workshop. We have chosen two classic marbles with character: Bianco Carrara C and Grigio Carnico. Bianco Carrara C marble is quarried in the Apuan Alps in Tuscany. It is a white marble with slight veining and light-grey flecks. It is the finest quality of Carrara white marble. Its resistance and fine, compact grain make it particularly suitable for kitchens and baths. Grigio Carnico marble is quarried in the Carnic Alps, in the Friuli Dolomites natural park in the province of Udine. It is an intense gray marble with delicate veining in white, light and dark gray. Its composition is very compact and resistant, and it offers high performance in terms of hygiene, maintenance and durability.

STEEL

Steel is a material used since antiquity, which can be recycled indefinitely and 100% without altering its qualities. Its properties facilitate a more durable design, realization and transformation. In its stainless version, it is unalterable without treatment and totally neutral for the environment.

MAINTENANCE

With regular maintenance and good products, you will be able to enjoy your items for many years. Beautiful things improve with the years. Natural materials such as solid oak and marble are living materials and improve over time.

ADVICE

Apply oil on the wood on a regular basis. Clean the wood in the direction of the thread. Protect work tops with cutting boards. Avoid direct sunlight. Avoid placing furniture near a source of heat or air conditioning.

On the sink and vanity furniture, prefer marble tops or wipe away water residues to avoid traces on wood.

Our marbles are ready-to-use, water-repellent and stain-proof. Clean the marble regularly with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild natural soap.

Never clean the marble with acidic products (vinegar, lemon,...), chemical products, anti-lime, bleach. . Immediately wipe all acidic or coloured substances in contact with the marble.

MAINTENANCE OF OAK AND MARBLE BOARDS

It is recommended to use different cutting boards for meat and fish and for fruits and vegetables. Wood is a living material that reacts to the humidity level. Do not wash in the dishwasher. Do not let soak. Do not leave in direct sunlight. Hand wash with a mild soap and wipe. It is recommended to coat the oil boards regularly. When worn, the board can be trimmed or sanded and oiled.

The marble is resistant to scratches and heat up to 180 °c. However, it remains fragile during violent impacts and sensitive to greasy or highly pigmented stains and acids. Hand wash with a mild soap and wipe.
