VASQUES
THE BASIN, FROM LATIN VASCUS -EMPTY, IS A LARGE AND SHALLOW CUP, AN ORNAMENTAL BASIN THAT RECEIVES WATER FROM A FOUNTAIN, A WATER STREAM.
In the kitchen, our sinks are available in 2 sizes : large and flat, compact and deep. The « Cuve », vat, from Latin Cupa, -large wooden or stone container, round and hollow, intended to contain water. The « Auge », trough, from Latin Alveus -long and shallow basin, recalling the hollow stone where horses and animals eat and drink. In the bathroom it is a round basin. The « Lavabo », from Latin lavabo -I wash, round basin intended for the toilet.
MARBLE
